Tethered Systems
Simultaneous Operations: We cover the liability of operating close to high-value subsea assets (wellheads, pipelines, cables), protecting you for accidental damage to your client’s infrastructure during Inspection, Repair, Maintenance or other intervention.
Umbilical Management: The umbilical is the lifeline, but also the weak link. Our policies specifically address “snagging” and “parting” incidents, including damage caused by the Tether Management System latching failures.
Untethered / Autonomous
Lost-in-Sea: We fight for Search & Recovery costs to be included. If your AUV goes silent, you need the ability to launch a search grid immediately, not next month.
Acoustic Dropouts: We understand that loss of comms is a standard operational phase for AUVs, not necessarily a claim event. We structure policies that define “Loss” accurately based on battery endurance and abort protocols, not just temporary silence.
Static Benthic Systems
Release Failure: We understand that the most critical moment for a lander is the acoustic release. We provide coverage for failure to surface events, where your data becomes stranded on the bottom.
Passive Interaction: We account for the risk of Third Party Interference.
